This significant win follows several years of dedicated negotiation and collaboration with local stakeholders. The new terminal is a crucial infrastructure development for the region and represents a major step forward in enhancing the passenger experience in one of South America’s key transit hubs.

Design work for the project is now underway, with construction scheduled to commence in early 2026.

Bruce Morton has been instrumental in securing this project, supported by the wider Mowlem Group team. Special recognition goes to Leslie Du Plesis, based in Georgetown, who has been actively involved in local mobilisation and preparation efforts.
