Mowlem’s social value extends beyond our contracted services and we are committed to corporate social responsibility initiatives to provide support and charitable donations in the communities in which we operate.
Our recent corporate social responsibility activities have included:
Tema Polyclinic
We presented furniture to the management of Tema Polyclinic to assist the clinic in expediting the distribution of Covid vaccines.
Kpone-Katamanso Health Directorate
We presented a donation to the Health Directorate at a health screening event for the community and in the Municipality.
‘Save Them Young’ Orphanage
Prior to Christmas, team members visited the ‘Save Them Young’ Orphanage at Gulf City, close to Kpone, one of the institutions in our Stakeholder Engagement Plan, with contributions in the form of raffle sales to purchase selected items needed at the Orphanage.
Items donated ranged from cleaning items to beverages and toiletries.
Mowlem’s responsibility as an employer includes offering support and initiatives to our staff. Among the activities we arrange are staff engagement events focused on health and wellbeing.
Breast Cancer Awareness Initiative
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month we hosted an information event which was attended by members of our team in Ghana.
