Mowlem Group is delivering a 150,000 sq ft new arrivals terminal at Cheddi Jagan International Airport in Timehri, Guyana. This flagship project marks the first phase of a wider airport redevelopment aimed at easing congestion, increasing capacity to over 2.5 million passengers annually, and enhancing the passenger experience with modern processing systems, expanded retail, and integrated public spaces.
Financed by UK Export Credit Guarantees, the Tema-Aflao Road Phase 1 is a landmark £225 million initiative, marking Mowlem's strategic advancement into the African market. Extending over 17km, this project highlights a significant collaboration with the Ghana Highway Authority, aimed at enhancing Ghana's infrastructural landscape.
